Display Google Reviews on Your Wix Website

Embed your Google reviews on your Wix website — no app from the Wix App Market. Insert embed code, widget visible.

Wix is particularly popular with smaller businesses in Switzerland — from hair salons to cleaning companies to accounting firms. The website builder makes many things easy, but one thing is missing: a good way to display Google reviews directly on your website. Apps in the Wix App Market are often expensive, have limited designs or show the app provider's branding. SwissTrustWidget bypasses all that completely: you insert a short HTML code and your reviews appear — no third-party app, no monthly app fees.

Before You Start: Enable Custom Code in Wix

Wix allows you to insert your own HTML code — but the feature must be enabled. Classic Wix Editor: available by default. Wix Studio: Custom Code via the "Custom Code" area in website settings. Wix ADI: limited — switch to the classic editor.

Create Widget at SwissTrustWidget

Go to swisstrustwidget.ch and click "Create Widget". Connect your Google location, choose a template (badge, trust pill or mini-badge work well for Wix), match the design to your Wix site.

Copy Embed Code

Click "Copy Code". The generated script tag goes to your clipboard.

Insert in Wix Editor

On one page: Wix Editor → + → Embed & Social → Custom Code → HTML, paste code, position, publish. On all pages: Settings → Custom Code → Add code, "Add to all pages", placement, save and publish.

Where to place the widget on a Wix site?

Home page: badge or trust pill under the hero section. Contact page: next to the contact form. About: carousel with multiple reviews. Footer (site-wide): compact badge on every page.

Troubleshooting: Widget not showing?

"Custom Code" not available? You may be on Wix ADI — switch to the classic editor. Widget too small or cut off? Resize the embed element in the editor (badge min. 300px, carousel min. 600px). Not visible after publishing? "Publish" is separate from "Save" — changes go live after "Publish". Wix security warning? Confirm you want to insert the code; SwissTrustWidget runs over HTTPS.
